Horizon Brand Partners was founded in 2023 by Mónica Ramírez, representative of the International Housewares Association for México and Central America. Over the course of her years of work as a key member of the IHA representation team at Business Development Partners, S.A. de C.V., the organization’s long-time Mexico and Central America Representative, Mónica has developed a deep understanding of how international brands are established in our region’s retail markets via distribution partners and direct-to-retail channels.

BRAND
REPRESENTATION
We work with housewares product brands to identify the most advantageous sales channels in our region and engage with their key players. This may include arranging sales presentations for the client with retail buyers, or setting up teleconferences or in-country meetings with executives of distribution companies. Depending on the needs of the client, brand representation may also include managing ongoing communications with potential buyers and troubleshooting of purchase order management from P.O. through shipping and delivery.
EVENT ORGANIZATION

We can organize an event to your specifications in our region. This may take the form of networking events or planning and managing a trade mission or sales visit to our region for your executives.
MARKET RESEARCH

Market research and partner searches respond to the specific needs of clients. Examples may include regulatory compliance requirements, overviews of key players in an industry niche, or candidates to serve as sales partners, among many others.

Horizon Brand Partners currently works with three principal organizations to support their growth in Mexico and Central America:
The International Housewares Association (IHA) is a non-profit trade organization committed to maximizing the success of the home + housewares industry. HBP recruits Mexican and Central American participants for the IHA’s annual Inspired Home Show international trade show in Chicago, assists in the organization and execution of IHA trade missions to our region, and provides support to IHA member companies.
Jomafe is a Portuguese brand of better cookware and cutlery. Mónica Ramírez has worked with Jomafe since 2019 to develop and manage relationships with sales channels such as Mexican upscale department store chains Liverpool and Palacio de Hierro, and Central American home goods retailers Almacenes Vidri and Grupo Novex, supporting ongoing communications and purchase order and delivery management.
Sttelli is a U.S.brand of textile products for the home. HBP introduced Sttelli to the La Marina department store chain and currently assists in managing Sttelli’s orders from La Marina.
